UTCC says laborers want govt to raise minimum wage every year

The Center for Economic and Business Forecasting of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) says most laborers want the government to raise the minimum wage every year to help them cope with the rising cost of living. The UTCC’s Center for Economic and Business Forecasting recently undertook a survey of 1,194 laborers who earn less than 15,000 baht a month.
